Touchscreen Test

Use the drawing canvas to check touch accuracy, multi-touch point count and ghost touches. Trace slow lines across the screen edges and diagonals; breaks or jumps can indicate a hardware issue or a screen protector causing interference. The tool also shows active touch points so you can verify your device’s maximum simultaneous touches.

  1. Remove smudges, clean/dry the screen.
  2. Tap Start Test and draw slow lines across the grid.
  3. Place multiple fingers to confirm multi-touch support.
  4. If you see stray dots, remove the case/protector and retest.

Touchscreen — FAQ

How many touch points should I see?

Most phones report up to 10 touches; some devices support fewer.

Why do I get ghost touches?

Moisture, poor protectors, faulty digitisers or noisy chargers. Clean/dry the screen and remove accessories; if it persists, consider hardware service.

Does this test store my drawings or data?

No. Everything runs locally in your browser — nothing is uploaded or saved.

Will it work with a stylus or pencil?

Yes, if your device exposes the stylus as a pointer/touch. Pressure and tilt aren’t measured.
