1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using ScreenTester.uk (the “Site”) and any tools or features provided on it (the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Site.

These terms are a legally binding agreement between you and the Site owner, INLine Computers (“we”, “us”, “our”). If you are using the Site on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for that business.

2. Eligibility

The Site is intended for users aged 13+. If you are under 18, use the Site only with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian.

3. Use at your own risk

The Services are for general informational and browser-based diagnostic purposes only. They do not constitute professional advice, certification, repair advice, medical advice, or a guarantee that your display or device is free from defects. You are solely responsible for how you use the Site and any actions you take based on results produced.

4. Accuracy & availability

• No guarantee of accuracy: Results can vary by browser, operating system, device, settings, panel technology, brightness, colour mode and environment. Patterns and measurements shown on the Site are best-effort visual or browser-derived checks and may be approximate.
• No certification or calibration service: The Site can help you spot issues such as tinting, clipping, ghosting or dead pixels, but it does not provide a lab-grade colour-accuracy certification or a guaranteed hardware diagnosis.
• No guarantee of availability: We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site without notice.
• Third-party content: The Site may link to third-party sites, display ads, or include affiliate links. We are not responsible for third-party content, accuracy, availability, privacy practices or product claims.

5. Health & safety

• Flashing imagery: Some tools display flashing colours and high-contrast motion which may trigger seizures in people with photosensitive epilepsy. Use caution.
• Responsible use: Do not leave flashing or high-contrast visuals unattended. Consider others nearby before using such features.
• Breaks & brightness: Keep sessions short, take breaks, and reduce screen brightness where possible.
• Stop if unwell: If you experience discomfort, dizziness, nausea, or eye strain, stop using the Site immediately and consult a medical professional if needed.

6. Acceptable use

• Do not use the Site for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose.
• Do not attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Site, including by introducing malware or scraping at a rate that impairs others’ use.
• Do not generate fraudulent, automated, incentivised or repeated ad clicks, impressions or traffic, and do not use bots or scripts to manipulate the Site or any advertising shown on it.
• Do not reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the Site’s code or assets, except as permitted by applicable law or with our prior written consent.

7. Intellectual property

All content and code on the Site are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. You may link to the Site and share links to our pages, but you must not copy or redistribute our code or assets without our written permission.

Third-party names and logos referenced on the Site are the property of their respective owners and used for identification only.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, representations, and conditions, whether express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

If you use the Site on behalf of a business, you agree that these terms apply to that business and that you have authority to bind it.

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why. The Site uses third-party services including Cloudflare for delivery and security, Google Analytics 4 for site analytics, and Google AdSense together with Google Privacy & messaging / Funding Choices and Consent Mode v2 for advertising and consent choices.

Where Google’s consent message applies, you can review or reopen those choices using the privacy settings link in the footer.

The Site may display Google AdSense ads and selected affiliate links, including Amazon links. If you click a third-party ad or affiliate link, you leave our site and the third party’s own terms, privacy notice and cookie practices apply.
